The
STORY
(so far)
STEM On Track started with a question every teacher dreads:
“When will I ever use this in real life?”
Adam had heard it a thousand times. He started his career on the Teach First programme, worked in schools across the UK and then decided to swap the classroom for the pit lane, becoming a Race Engineer in Formula 3 and W Series.

Meanwhile, James was building digital learning projects for the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, making online courses less… boring.

In 2022 we decided to finally team up. Our mission? Turn that dreaded classroom question into an unforgettable experience.

STEM On Track was born: a programme where students build and race their own karts, learn the STEM theory behind every bolt, and finally see how science and maths show up in the real world (and on the track!).

Fast forward to today:

-
Working with 60+ schools
-
100 student teams
-
A national partnership with BWT Alpine Formula One Team
And hundreds of young people discovering that STEM can be loud, fast, and life-changing.

And the best part?
Watching students go from “when will I ever use this?” to “Let's do that again!”
